
ISU gets more money for obesity program

NORMAL- Illinois State University has received additional funding to helping school districts combat obesity and promote physical activity and healthy nutrition.
U.S. Rep. Tim Johnson , an Urbana Republican, has helped secure nearly $124,000 in federal money to fund the Physical Education Obesity Prevention and Lifestyle Enhancement program.
The program was started with the help of a $165,000 grant secured by Johnson.
